Growing Chefs! Ontario School Project Can Now Reach 2,500 Students Thanks to $149,000 OTF Grant

Children’s Food Education in London gets a boost



Growing Chefs! Ontario celebrated a $149,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) that will help them to expand their School Project to reach over 2,500 students per year. Deb Matthews, MPP for London North Centre, joined Sheila Simpson, OTF representative to congratulate Growing Chefs! Ontario. They were able to join a grade one class from Byron Northview for an interactive cooking class at the Covent Garden Farmer’s Market.
